Whether you need a solid recipe for a holiday get-together or are just looking to whip up a quick dinner, these are my favorite healthy food blogs. I’ve written a quick ditty on why I love each one and hope they help you to narrow your search when it comes to finding recipes that use whole foods and deliver on flavor!
5 Healthy Food Blogs You Don’t Want to Miss:
- What I Love: This blog is not only aesthetically pleasing, but it consistently delivers when it comes to creating recipes that are flavorful and nutritious. I particularly like that most of the recipes are simple, quick, and don’t require a load of ingredients and an encyclopedia to go with them.
- What I Love: Elana’s recipes are easy to make, created with whole foods, and extremely tasty. Her website also features a special diets tab that makes it easy to find recipes that match your dietary needs (gluten free, paleo, dairy free, vegan, etc.).
- What I Love: I’m not vegan, not even close, but let me tell you, these recipes are rich, decadent, and would win any taste test, vegan or not! I haven’t dabbled much in her non-treat recipes, but they look fabulous as well. Expect gorgeous pictures and quality ingredients.
- What I Love: For those of you are meat lovers, this is the blog for you! I’m also not paleo, but this blog does a fabulous job turning heavy favorites into fresh and succulent whole food recipes. The blog also provides menus to cover your week and a slew of recipes including ones that you can plop in the slow cooker (holler at your mother!).
- What I Love: If you are looking for something fresh and recipes that have the latest “it” ingredients you have found your blog. In addition to finding the latest health food recipes, you will also find beautiful pictures and wellbeing inspiration from a registered dietitian nutritionist.
